Description: The beach
Status: Public, in progress

Maine spring was nothing like South Carolina. Right now, on the beach it would probably be in the 80s, here it was wasn't as warm and breezy. The beach was nice. It reminded her of home. Of course, this was her home now. South Carolina would be a memory, a place for her to visit. The manor would be hers though, after her grandparents died. It was supposed to be hers and Alec's but not anymore. She couldn't imagine a huge house all to herself. Of course, selling it would make sense but she'd never do it. The manor had been in the Bennett family since the family crossed the Atlantic. It was full of memories that she couldn't share with some strangers. That house would be hers, and only hers. She hadn't factored marriage in, maybe because the very idea scared her. She couldn't imagine telling someone she loved that she had magical powers, unless she married another witch... warlock.. witch, they probably wouldn't stick around after that. They'd think she was crazy. She sighed as she walked along the tide. She was wearing flip flops, it still might be a little cool for them, but Roman didn't care. The ocean would always been her first love.

As she walked her hair bounced, it was tied in a very messy ponytail. She had on her sunglasses, despite the rain that had been around, the sun was finally peaking out behind the clouds. She was so thankful for it. Roman needed the sun. She needed the outdoors. She walked the length of the ocean before finding some rather large rocks the could sit on. Roman smiled. She moved quickly over to them, picking one that was relatively comfortable and sat on it. Se pulled a book out of her bag, and began reading. It was something about other supernatural beings she'd gotten from the library. Ever since her run in with Herb, she couldn't contain her curiosity of what else could be out there. For the longest time she thought that it was just witches. Then when she came to Crescent Cove, she had met Mairead, a crazy red head Fae that she'd be glad not to ever see again. The she met Herb, a con-man and a shifter. What else could be out there? She had seen something about vampires and werewolves in her Book of Shadows, it had even mentioned demons. It all fascinated her.

Of course, this was just a library book. She wasn't sure what was true what was not true, or if it was all fake. She read it anyway. It was interesting enough to hold her attention. Plus, it kept her out of the house, and kept her reading her Book of Shadows for the hundredth time.
