Zoe was engrossed on her latest blog research for a new entry. Without looking away, her slim fingers easily grabbed at the open can of AMP that was sitting next to her open notebook and she took a hungry gulp from it. Placing it back in its original spot after the sugary energy drink went down her throat smoothly and with ease, she went back to her research notes, making sure that she didn't miss anything from transferring it from paper to her laptop. After taking a few seconds on looking over her notes, she had her sights back on the open Word document window:

Sometimes, I wonder how I even continue with my line of work. Then again, how could I end years of research of the very ones I find so fascinating? With vampires, they've always held a special interest up there along with witches and werewolves. However, it is Brom Stoker's addicting story that has everyone that has read it up and about, epsecially those that even worship these fictional supernatural beings

Then again, Zoe had only done her blog entries to help keep her readers, especially those not aware of supernaturals actually existing among the mundanes, not freaking out and keeping any and all sups she comes across safe and unharmed.

Chantal had been settling in to Crescent Cove over the last couple of weeks. Well, as much as Chantal ever settled. Her own research and contacts had sent her to this town. She was hunting, but looking for one demon in particular. She had been chasing her for years and this was the best lead she heard in a long time.

She had been lucky that there had been an opening at the Public Library. So at least she had the start of a steady income, even if she and her fiance partner were living out of a duffle bags right now. This was how Chantal usually operated. When they moved to a new place, she situated herself in the local library to help with her research on finding whatever she was hunting.

One of the first things she noticed when she started working was... there was certainly an abundant amount of research. More than she would have suspected for a small harbour town in Maine. She also got a chance to see who was checking out the material on Sups. People who could be potential allies, or those who could get in her way.

That was how Chantal had noticed Zoe at least where she sat with her laptop and notes. She had been working at restocking some shelves when she heard the tapping, so that drew her attention. Chantal walked over to her table. "Is there anything you need help with?" Chantal asked keeping her voice to the customary library volume.

Zoe looked up to find a woman asking if she needed help.

"Actually, I'm kinda curious as to what time I would have to leave. Havent gotten around to use the library until today and never asked what time it closes. Silly of me for having been here almost a year and I never found that information out sooner."

Zoe was being honest on that--she didnt have a need to come here sooner until she needed some help from stoker and other fictional writers to help with her entry.

"Also was curious on the policy of food. I know with drinks it's acceptable so long as its not an open cup."

Well, that wasn't exactly the help Chantal had been thinking of offering, but she might as well blend into her cover at least. She smiled a friendly smile, and pushed her braid back behind her shoulder as she adjusted the books she was carrying in her arms.

"Most days we're open till 9, but since it's the weekend we'll be closing at 5:30," Chantal explained and checked her watch at just to see how much more time they actually had before Chantal had to start closing up. "Of course. Covered drinks and snack foods are fine, as long as you don't take them to the library computers or to the stacks," she explained.

Zoe nodded her head at what was answered. Then decided, what the hell? She was gonna enjoy up asking the editable question anyway.

"Any chance you have anything on the countress bathory? Other than the basic stuff on her? Working on a thesis on vampires, especially female ones and I ended up having her name drawn."

The New Yorker figured that she start off slow and eventually try for the good stuff. The petite huntress figured that this librarian was probably used to hearing weird requests all the time.
