No weapons are allowed, only hand-to-hand combat is acceptable; the use of fire is also acceptable if the warriors are capable of it. It is usually performed in front of spectators, and the bout lasts until someone is knocked out. If they die accidentally, no punishment is dealt, however.
I think it is an unofficial family tradition. My family is...high in status. That carries the obligation to be, well, better. I doubt anyone will be asking me to participate. I am very much exiled, after all, for not fighting my father in the Agni Kai. As for the dragons, defeat means dead, end of story.
I would like to see all the species of dragons, at least once. I don't know why Asia only has one kind. But I am of the opinion that our kind is the most powerful.
