Hello everyone! It’s Brittany (yes, me again) with my FOURTH character, Mr. Beau Montgomery. He’s 26 years old, and a new kid, both to the game and to the UK. He’s only been living in London for a few months. You see, Beau was born and raised near Houston, Texas. He attended a wizarding school in New Orleans, and got a certification in magical law after graduation. He had a successful career as a defense attorney with a major wizarding law firm in Houston, but he felt the need to relocate after his gambling problem (he says he doesn’t have a problem) and therefore his debts got out of control to the point that his life was being threatened by people he owed dough to. So, here he is! He has opened his own private practice in London and is already beginning to develop a reputation as a thorn in the side to Magical Law Enforcement. He defends even the worst of criminals as long as they can pay his hefty fees, and even if they’re clearly guilty, he often finds ways to get the charges thrown out or crucial evidence withheld because - dun dun dun - uncovering procedural errors or other ways in which aurors/hitwizards/investigators/the prosecution have broken the rules. He may seem like a laid-back, easygoing guy, but trust me – he knows everything that’s happening around him and he’s figuring out how to use it to his advantage. Unless he’s gambling, then he’s pretty much just on autopilot. – stupid money-losing autopilot. He’s the second son of a pureblood diplomat and a halfblooded schoolteacher, but he poses as a pureblood to make himself more attractive to wealthy pureblooded clients. He likes to win, he likes the ladies, and he loves betting on quidditch matches, horse races and poker/blackjack/craps/roulette – anything gambling related, really.
In a nutshell, he’s not a bad guy, but he’s definitely not a good one, either.
