Who: Maire and Theo What: Dinner for two When: Early evening Where: Theo's apartment Rate: Low to medium
Theo was not entirely ready for dinner that night. After all, he was used to cooking for him, in his boxers and dancing to music. He could be (and was) doing that as the food cooked in the pan and he was waving his wand for last minute cleaning. He was a bachelor, sure, but that did not mean he had to let his house look like it... especially with company. The music pounded from his speakers and he walked into his room to get changed into a lose-fit pair of jeans and a tan sweater. His hair was still damp from his shower and in every which direction from his half-hearted drying attempts.
What was the reason for dinner? Clearly it was a duel celebration. Her team won and he had an interview. It was not at all an attempt to simply get her to hang out because he liked being with her. That would be extremely girly to admit. He lowered the music and slid into the kitchen area again to flip the chicken and start the pasta and vegetables, pretending he was not slightly embarrassed for being this fickle. He was a man... manly.
Theo looked over at the door, wondering if she would get there early or not. If she did, he was caught in the act of cooking and if not she would make it in time for him to put the food on the table and for her to pick what she wanted to drink. Sydney was never to hear of this mental run-off... She'd never let Theo live it down.
