As much as she hated to admit it at times, Sydney's therapist had been right. Quitting her job at the Ministry and taking some time away from it was probably the best thing, outside of copious amounts of time with Bella and her other friends, for her to do. She even took a job at the Rose Garden in Hogsmeade to give her self something to do, a sense of routine, not to mention she'd gotten kind of tired of living off of her parents dime again. Not that it wasn't appreciated, it was just time to end that. There were times she still felt a little panicky about being in crowded places, but for the most part, she'd gotten past that and even started using public loos again. That had been a big step forward. Granted it'd all come tumbling down again after all of those prisoners escaped, but she was working through it, and she was quite proud of herself.
So, after saying goodbye to her bosses, Rose and Tyler, she headed off to the Three Broomsticks where she had every intention of ordering something quite delicious and sitting there for a while as she worked through another chapter in the book she was reading. That morning she'd dressed herself very carefully, even if she might not have looked it. The problem was during this whole thing, especially after it all began, she'd gone through a phase where she wasn't really eating much, if anything, and she dropped a few pounds off of her already tiny frame. Now that she'd gotten past that stage (thankfully) she was working her way to put some of it back on. And she thought that a meal of beef stew packed with beef and veggies, few rolls, and a mug of butterbeer was a good step in that direction. Well, that and it was one of her favorite things to get on a fall day. Once she'd polished off her meal she sat settled into her booth sipping on the remainders of her butterbeer enjoying the warm sensation as it went down as she turned a page in the book she was reading with a smile on her face. After a few moments she heard someone shut the door just a little too loudly and she jumped, banging her knee on the underside of the table and nearly spilling the remainder of her beverage. She tried not to look too bewildered, as she rubbed her knee, but she had feeling that she looked a little more panicked than she was.
