Fred smiled as she watched Charlie open the present from her parents. at the sight of the science kit, she looked over at her father, who smiled back. "With you as her mother, we had no doubt that little girl was going to end up with a healthy interest in science," he told her. "Just as we're sure she'll end up with a healthy interest in books and languages too."
Richard chuckled at that as he glanced over at his son. "I'm rather sure you're right about that, Roger."
Fred was about to tell them that Charlie was already learning a couple of other languages with Rupert's help, but before she could, Charlie was asking about opening the present that her mother and father had brought for Andi. When Rupert said she could, Charlie quickly ripped off the paper to find a plain box. Inside that was a stuffed dog.
"It looks like Molly!" Charlie said with a laugh. "Look, Andi. She could by Molly's baby like you're Mummy and Daddy's baby."
Andi just continued drinking the breast milk Fred had pumped from the bottle her grandma was feeding her.
"I'm sure she'll love that as she gets older. We'll put it next to her crib," Fred told Charlie before looking over at her parents. "Thank you so much."
"Oh, I have a feeling that Richard, Helen, your father and I will be spoiling these two rotten," Trish replied. Andi finished the bottle so she shifted her up to her shoulder to pat her back. "Grandparents' prerogative and all that."
"How come no one spoils me?" Xander asked before looking over at Martin with a wink.
