William was joking, of course. He wouldn’t leave his siblings children either, knowing all too well that his mother would be at his case in no time at all. Family meant everything, without it, you had nothing. He nodded, wondering what Declan would say when he found out that he’d talked about his car. But William liked to tease Declan, so he wouldn’t tell the man. Not yet, anyway. He’d have to wonder for a little bit longer. He would’ve liked to answer her question himself, but Declan’s short answer seemed to be all she needed and he smiled at her. Daphne seemed to like the fact that he was a Murphy, but he didn’t mind. He could just fuck her and be gone with her. That’s what women like that were good for, after all.
“Charming lady” Will said as he flung his arm across the other man’s shoulders. He hadn’t bothered replying to her flirt, he would though, some other time. Not just not. He was in the mood for something else at the time being. William opened the door for his friend, poking him “I’ll make sure to come back here. She’s friendly enough for me to visit again”Again, teasing. Will stopped to light another smoke, and offered one to Declan before he continued. They’d have to walk, but it wouldn’t take more than twelve, fifteen minutes to reach the Murphy residence.
“So, this is my home” Will said as he opened the door to the pool-house “It’s a lot better than the fucking cell, don’t you think so? “He got rid of his boots and his jacket, before he made sure to lock the door behind them. William didn’t want any uninvited guests, he’d made sure to tell his mother that he needed some privacy but that didn’t mean that she’d respect his words. She was his mother, after all “Here we are again..Together..As free men”
