Ava was nervous. So far, the Murphy's had been very accepting of her and her daughter. They welcomed both of them in their homes and their lives without question. It was hard to deny Jessica, though. She was the main reason Seamus and her had even moved far beyond the casual hook ups. Now they were married and she proudly carried the name Murphy, as well as two future Murphy's. Those two future Murphy's were the reason she found herself on the couch, instead of helping her mother-in-law in the kitchen.
Happy for the break from both Jessica and Patrick, she had taken over William's big chair, feet up on the ottoman. She was only twenty-three weeks, but she was already pretty big. Something she blamed on Seamus' genes. She was loving every second of being pregnant, though.
She had wanted to be upright when Will came in, but the chair was a bit too comfortable and cushiony for her to pull herself up from it. She sighed, resting her hands on her swollen stomach. She was pretty sure she would have a bit more time before Will would make his way in to the living room. Shannon was probably first on the list of people for him to see.
