I've only just now heard word of your family's tragic loss, and needed to extend my unbridled sympathies, belated as they may be. Simon and I have been residing in our villa in Sardinia, and do not always receive word right away as to the going-ons back home. I am unendingly sorry that your family has suffered more tragedy in what is already such a perilous time. It was devastating to learn that the night of our last meeting ended so awfully, and now this? I do hope that things begin to look lighter for you soon. Everyone sends flowers, I realise, but it was the very least that I could do. Have a lovely New Year, Narcissa.
Most sincerely, ♥
Sent along with the note. There are preservation charms on the flowers so that they will remain alive and pretty for quite some time. There's also a listening device which has been warded against detection, right for the Malfoy's humble abode (or wherever Narcy decides to stick the flowers). Happy holidays, Narcissa!
