Tom: In tandem with the Wizarding Orphanage Commitment of Care and Competence, The Foundation for the Promotion of Wizarding Society and Culture announced the opening of The Somerset Home for Abandoned Magical Youth. Due to open Monday, August 10th, the Somerset Home for Abandoned Magical Youth will be accepting those children from the orphanages that are deemed unsuitable under the Wizarding Orphanage Commitment of Care and Competence. “It is utterly unfair to expect these children to find a new home on their own,” Said Lucinda Greengrass, head of Orphan Affairs at the Foundation, and co-proposer of the Wizarding Orphanage Commitment of Care and Competence, “The Foundation for the Promotion of Wizarding Society and Culture has opened this specific orphanage for all those poor children who lived in substandard conditions for so long. At last they will be given a chance at a comfortable life.” Mrs. Greengrass is not the only person excited about the opening. It seems that many influential people in Wizarding politics are equally as thrilled. Araminta Meliflua, head of education at the Somerset Home for Abandoned Magical Youth told us, “The opening of The Somerset Home for Abandoned Magical Youth is a marvelous feat and it will do nothing but good for all the children that it services, I am immensely proud to have been a part of such an undertaking.” So there you have it folks, all those children who will lose their current homes, now have a better home at the Somerset Home for Abandoned Magical Youth. We at the Wizarding Wireless Network look forward to the opening in two weeks, and are pleased to know that the orphans will have an excellent future. Back to you, Rita. |
