REFORMED WEREWOLVES SAVE TINWORTH CURFEW PATROLS REHABILITATION PROGRAMME PROVES ITS SUCCESS ONCE AGAIN Jeremiah Smith TINWORTH - Only a week after the Department of Magical Law Enforcement's curfew patrols in Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade were ambushed by anti-government agents, terrorists struck again as they attacked three patrol crews in the Cornish wizarding-Muggle settlement of Tinworth. This time, however, the rehabilitated werewolves who had recently been assigned to help protect the on-duty DMLE officers were able to hold off the attackers, preventing them from being harmed further and even saving their lives. It has also been confirmed that Fenrir Greyback and Tabitha Pryce were two of the werewolves who helped fend off the terrorists at great personal risk to themselves, although they were not available for interviews at the time of publication. The Hogsmeade Herald was, however, able to speak with two of the officers who had been attacked last night for their stories. 'I've never trusted werewolves before in my life and admittedly spent most of the evening thinking the ones I'd been paired with would run off and attack someone the moment I turned away,' said Jane Portland, a recent recruit for the Magical Law Enforcement Squad. 'But they saved my life once we were under attack, and who knows what would have happened if they'd not been there to help. I mean, it was bad, but it could have been so much worse if it'd just been my partner and me out there.' 'My partner and I were in a lot of trouble,' noted Hit-witch Veda Summerston with a happy grin on her face. '[The werewolves] really saved us. I'm glad they were patrolling with us!' Numerous villagers residing in Tinworth also expressed their gratitude for the actions taken by the werewolves to protect both the curfew patrols and residents. 'They're awful, those terrorists, for attacking men and woman of the law,' said Gorran Slogget, the local butcher. 'And I can't say they're even worse than werewolves anymore, as they've proven they can get over their violent natures and be upstanding citizens themselves. I saw one of the attacks happening right outside my shop and I can say those werewolves were nothing but brave and noble throughout the entire incident.' 'I feel much safer knowing [the werewolves] are on our side and actually effective in preventing or at least holding off these terrorist attacks,' added Tamsin Clinock, a mother of three children. 'If I had my way, these werewolves would get some sort of reward for their services. I think it's the least we owe them after how they've been treated for all these years.' Representatives from the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries' rehabilitation programme were unavailable for comment.
