Marlene is chilling out with all the gryffindor kiddos (probably next to Remus and sat on by Agnes), and she is freaking stoked that Dumbledore is there because that makes it feel like they're going to get things done and'll actually prompt them into the offense rather than just the defense all the time. She's definitely in better spirits and more talkative at this one than the last, because she's been trying really hard to behave lately and because she didn't just almost get all her friends killed by opening doors.
She'd agree very muchly with Agnes and Sirius's proactive solutions, and hopes that no one will mention that peacock theft isn't the most proactive thing that they could be doing, because she knows that now that she's had time to cool down.
Marlene'll also bring up eventually that maybe they should start reviewing who else would be a good candidate for the Order, because it feels like they're super outnumbered, and having a bigger variety of people helping (beyond rash teenage gryffindors and mid-20s ravenclaws who think that they're smarter than everyone and hufflepuff aurors who are amazing but could have their jobs in danger) might be good. She'd also bring up Meaghan, because while nothing happened at that Quidditch game, something COULD HAVE happened had Meaghan not given her and Benjy the information on what happened with Narcissa.
However, she'll also mention (decidedly not looking anywhere in Fabian's direction while doing so) that they need to not hint about the Order's existence to people until more than just one member thinks that it would be a good idea, because if that hinting backfires, they could be in a very bad situation. She hasn't said anything to Meaghan about joining the Order, nor is she going to unless other people at the meeting back up her opinion on her and think that she'd be a good person to have join, and Marlene thinks that it's important that they all realize that they're trying to keep this secret for a reason, as people's jobs and lives are on the line, and they should all be really careful when it looks like someone they don't know much about is treading on figuring them out, putting the pieces together. If they can do that, obviously so can the death eaters.
