It would make him a tidy profit given he'd been able to extract it from it's previous owner for just over thirty galleons. That had been an entertaining haggle; Miriam had a tendency towards very audible dramatics and there were a few moments where the casual observer might have thought Aberforth was threatening to impale her children give the way she'd wailed and beaten her chest. Aberforth had found it hilarious, all part of the little game they played.
