Speak to Glinda Crook for the first, and Narcissa or Lucius for the second • House Elves will do everything within reason. Feel free to order them around- Dobby isn't the only one • Party! These events are Narcissa's pride and joy. So have fun :) 6:00pm - 7:00pm Only guests who possess an invitation are able to Apparate within the wrought-iron gates. They will then be led by a house elf into through the front doors and around to the gardens, where hors'd oeuvres and drinks are served on a patio by the fountain. Elegant and pristine, the gardens are the perfect place for introductions, polite conversation, and flirting. (6:00pm - 7:00pm; 10:00pm - 1:00am) If the occasional screech is heard, it is one of two albino peacocks, the latest in lawn ornaments. Please remember that the Malfoys would be incredibly displeased if the birds are teased or harmed in any way. There are many pathways and secluded benches that a person (or two) could wander off to, should they choose. Walnut, Arugula and Gorgonzola Crostini Crostini topped with toasted walnuts, Gorgonzola cheese and freshly shredded Arugula leaves Fresh Shrimp served on ice with Cocktail sauce (7:00pm - 10:00pm) 7:00pm - 10:00pm Dinner is served at seven, in one of Malfoy Manor's larger banquet halls. The courses are leisurely, giving guests a chance to talk with one another. Placecards are set, and Mrs. Malfoy herself has created the seating chart. It would be best for guests to sit at their assigned seat.
Seated Appetizer Baby Artichokes a unique baby artichoke presentation with mustard dipping sauce Salad Arugula salad served with mushroom stuffed salmon lox balls Sorbet Grapefruit and Mint Sorbet to cleanse the palette between courses Main Course Prime Rib served with flavorful Au Jus and Horseradish sauces Small New Red Potatoes tossed with white truffle oil Julienne Snow Peas and Carrots Dessert Chocolate Hazelnut Mousse with a mint garnish Assorted Berry Tartlets 10:00pm - 10:15pm; Guest Speaker Glinda Crook Miss Glinda Crook will give a short speech on the current state of the Wizarding world and the Campaign for Greater Freedom for Wizards. Guests wishing to make donations may do so afterwards. 10:15pm - 1:00am At this time, guests are free to enjoy themselves. The ballroom is opened, with classical wizarding music playing constantly. Gentlemen are welcome to find the library, particularly should they wish to make a highly encouraged donation to the Cause. Ladies may prefer one of the sitting rooms to take a breather from dancing. Of course, guests are welcome to wander the gardens. However, the Malfoys would prefer guests to limit themselves to the opened rooms, and not go wandering around the Manor. (10:15pm - 1:00am) Where better to dance than the ballroom? House elves are more than happy to hold a guest's champagne flute while they take to a floor with a partner. Dance cards are left on one of the tables, each with a lady's name on it. A terrace opens out onto the gardens, should anyone feel overheated or need a break. (10:15pm - 1:00am) Comfortable chairs are arranged for ease of conversation. Guests wishing to talk and relax, but not brave the elements of the garden, might enjoy this room. Several Malfoy ancestors are depicted in the portraits. House elves stroll with trays, offering drinks. This is one of the Manor's drawing rooms, and not the one with the secret chamber underneath. (10:15pm - 1:00am) While not as vast as the Malfoys' main library, nor as official as Mr. Malfoy's private study, this room certainly gives off the air of official business and masculinity. The wards are secure against unfriendly ears, and the library is the perfect place to relax or to plan any sort of scheme. Mrs. Malfoy is more than happy to point guests wishing to make donations in the direction of this room. Traditionally, this room is for the gentleman only, but that isn't to say that the occasional lady unconcerned with propriety hasn't found her way here. |
