[Christmas Tree] | ||||
Activities Teams race to pass the bows from one end of the line to the other, but the tricky part is that they must pass it to each other while holding hands. This is quite a tricky Christmas game that takes a lot of patience. It's just like that game that I'm sure we've all played (or at least seen played) where you have note cards on your forehead with a name and you have to guess who you are. We can switch it up, DMLE style. Every person that's there has a card with their name on it and all cards go in a bowl. They then pull out a card and,without looking at it, place it on their forehead. All the players mill about the room and ask questions to find out who they are. The last person with a card on their head loses. At the start announce the simple objective, the only rule is that no one can take their hat off until you have. Let another game or conversation take place, and as time goes by, people will take their attention off you, and even forget the game is happening. Eventually remove your hat and watch as people cotton on. Gradually the hats will come off, amidst sniggers and smirks. Some unsuspecting person (who’s probably busy boring everyone with a hopeless story)
will be last to notice, and much to every ones’ mirth, this person is the loser. Here is another one of those cool adult Christmas games. Divide your group into teams of two to four people. Give each group a pair of pantyhose (not the really tight ones… you want ones that are a looser). Give each team eight balloons. Then, when “Go” is said, the race starts, and the teams start blowing up the balloons and stuffing them into the pantyhose. Once all the balloons are stuffed inside the pantyhose (4 in each leg), someone has to wear the “reindeer antlers” and needs to sing the first verse of “Jingle Bells”. The first team to finish – is the winning team. This is great for a group Christmas picture – you can also let everyone finish making their antlers and photograph all the “reindeer” together. Place a row of plastic drinking cups full of punch on both sides of a table. Enough cups for each player. On "Go" players drink the punch as fast as they can. set the empty cup right side down and then tries to "flip" the cup off the edge of the table so it lands right side up. The first side to flip all their cups wins. This is even more fun with "spiked" punch. |
