There were very few things Sirius could say he knew much about when it came to the muggle world. He'd watched television as it had seemed sort of fascinating to see life be imitated by a bunch of lights. He'd tried a few of their mind altering substances before acquiring a like for the ones that suited him. He'd even taken a liking to a few of their clothing styles for their minimalist view and simplicity, but the one thing he could say he knew more than enough about was his bike. It'd been an extravagance and a method of blending in (when it wasn't flying) but he often compared it to love at first sight. He'd decided that if he ever loved a person the way he loved this mass of metal machinery, he'd propose on the spot. That could explain why he chose to take what could be construed as a slower way of transport on his way to St. Albans.
Taking an hour out to spend with his bike was just as important as where he arrived as it gave him time to think about what Remus and Alice had relayed to him previously. He wasn't happy about it to say the least - Regulus was an idiot, bred to spout positive phrases but he wasn't much of a criminal. So what if it was explosives? He was sure if he had enough time on his hands, he'd have enjoyed throwing up a few sparks to drive people mad. It wasn't worth their time to piss off his parents, in his own humble opinion.
He parked the bike in the street, ignoring the few odd looks from those who lingered there and headed up to the Tonks house. It had been far too long since he'd been here, he noted with a small smile as he knocked on the door.
