WHO: Bebe, Wendy, Brin, Maddie, Jac & Sloan. YEAR: 2037 WHERE: Sisters & co camping trip in the woods, somewhere in WA!
When she planned this camping trip, Bebe honestly hadn’t entirely expected Sloan Campbell to take her up on the offer. Obviously Wendy would go, and Brin and she would probably be able to convince Maddie to go. Bebe had been pretty confident that Jac would go, but she had also purposely neglected to tell her sister about the fact that she invited Sloan to fill the extra seat in the van. She had mostly offered as a goof at first, mostly to mess with Jac, and because honestly, Jac was so antisocial all the time that Bebe just wanted to have someone for her to spend time with over the weekend.
And for whatever reason, as much as her sister vehemently denied it, Sloan was someone that her sister did spend time with. They were like night and day but that didn’t really keep them apart.
In her heart though, Bebe hadn’t expected a spoiled girl like Sloan to agree to three days and two nights semi-roughing it in the great outdoors. She had been confident that as soon as she mentioned sleeping outside, Sloan would nix it. But Sloan’s first question was whether or not there would be drugs to be had and when Bebe confirmed there indeed would be, lots to go around, Sloan confirmed she would come along. Bebe had been surprised, but pleasantly so.
That was at first though, like a week ago when Sloan had first agreed. That was before they all had to sit through three hours of her complaining and whining about literally everything on the way to where they were camping.
Bebe loved camping, it was something that she spent a lot of time doing and something that she and her siblings had all grown up doing a lot of. Even if their brothers weren’t wolves, their entire family had an undeniable connection to nature and the wilderness. The Campbell girls.. less so. Alicia was a little different, but Bebe didn’t think she could recall one time from childhood when Lillian or Sloan had ever actually played outside and gotten dirty, like the other kids. Their little dresses and shoes had always been perfect.
By contrast, Bebe only remembered being the holy terror of the neighbourhood, always on the go, always with her sisters and friends, always in the woods. They were almost never inside. She was and had always been girly, she loved being feminine and fashionable and all of those things, but the Campbells took spoiled and girly to another level. At least Bebe had a little bit of a tomboy side, maybe it was the wild animal inside of her, who knew.
She had thought, maybe, when they rolled up in front of the Campbell house that morning and Sloan saw the van loaded full of supplies indicating that they were all seriously actually going camping, real camping, that Sloan would change her mind at the last minute. But she didn’t, oh no, she came along to complain and bitch and gripe the entire way there instead and by the time they actually got to where they were going, Bebe was ready to strangle her. She felt even worse for the four that actually had to sit in the back with her.
Holding in her temper was something that she was a pro at, she had been practicing it since she was a child and for the most part, Bebe was damn good at it. She didn’t snap often, but when she snapped, she really went off the deep end and it was never pretty, or really expected. By the time they were unloading the gear, Sloan had almost driven Bebe to that point. She knew what she was getting into by inviting Sloan, she had known her for her entire life and it wasn’t as if both Jac and Wendy hadn’t warned her, but god, she forgot how fucking insufferable the other blonde could be until they were trapped in an enclosed space. Bebe had driven the last twenty minutes with white knuckles, grinding her teeth.
It was a good thing that they were there, and she could get high, because she was maybe going to murder Sloan Campbell if she didn’t.
