Those Bloody Layouts! A Layout (and Help) Communit

So I came across a request for this feature, and tinkered about until I found something that worked (sort of). It only works with paid accounts, though. ( Code and instructions )

After paying for the journal, it defaulted to having comments post in the same layout as the journal (which is fine, I like it that way). Unfortunately, I lost the tool bar that allows me to edit entries from the comment page.

However, I found out after using http://www.insanejournal.com/editjournal.bml to edit an entry, that the tool bar for editing, tagging, tracking, adding to memories, etc., was on the journal entry itself, but not anywhere else (see for example: Entry with tools as opposed to Default reply page after clicking "Leave a comment".)

I would like to find a way to get that selection of useful links onto entries in the main journal or at least back onto the page where comments are made...before a comment has been made. Preferably both.

I think I might be able to get it in place if I just have the code for it, but I'm not sure since I don't know why it's showing up in one place but not anywhere else...

I have just switched to Bloggish lay-out and am loving the return of the tag-list :-)

Now the only thing I'm missing is my very pretty banner that my friend made for me. So is there any way to modify CSS to change the banner (or add another above the nice on they have)? I'm not all that CSS-savvy, but I usually do get tutorials and such.

I would prefer not to have to do a complete custom CSS (unless I can bribe someone to do it for me) so something to be inculded/modified into what's already there would be nice.

Erm, and since I'm asking: How about the width of the content relative to page size? Changeable?

I hate the fact all of my links to navagate are at the bottom of the page I would like to move them under the banner. Can some one help me figure out how to do this?

Does anybody have the CSS code for Bloggish? I'm on a free account for right now and I'm looking to develop a custom layout using images and modifications to the CSS.

If you want credit for the code, I will credit you in my userinfo.

I am using the Bloggish/Forest Green layout, and I need to be able to add a section in the sidebar for links, since IJ allows only 5 links in the sidebar and I need more. Is this possible, or will I have to change to a different layout? Can anyone explain to me how I do it? (I know basic html but nothing more, and I know absolutely zero about how to modify LJ/IJ layouts). I have a Permanent account.

I got this layout from LJ, and its set as an S1 Generator layout. My only problem is that userpics will show up on my friends page, but not my normal entries page. Is it possible to make my layout show my userpics?
