Lisa rolled her eyes as if this was the most ridiculous statement he could have made. "You don't have a sister, but you could have a girlfriend. Merlin, you'd think they'd train you a bit on such things." She laughed, looking over toward the bar again, eyes lingering for just a little too long. "And really, either way it's a shite cover." Then she thought it through again. "Or maybe the best cover. Who would think his own brother was coming to take him down?"
She shook her head, seeing that she was rambling on a bit too much. It wasn't till that moment that she realised she was a little nervous. Stephen hadn't been a close friend at school, but she'd talked to so few of her school friends since coming back that she was anxious for it to go well anyway. But hell, if she and Terry were actually talking again, at least tentatively, then she didn't have anything to worry about from the rest of them, did she?
"You know, I'm not sure," Lisa said scrunching up her eyebrows as she glanced down at her menu. She'd always just let Isaac get her ale, but she couldn't recall if he'd ever told her what it was called. She chuckled. "Well, he'll know what it is."
