"Ah, is that what they're calling it now?" She looked up at him. "An act?" her tone was curious and a bit more serious. Liliana hoped she wasn't overstepping her bounds to inquire. He always seemed so very sure of himself in the court room. It seemed like there was one answer, his answer, and he would do anything to prove it. This wasn't something she'd seen before.
She nodded, "Well, I think that's why she invited me," Liliana confessed. "She knows I'm the same way." She shrugged, it was a choice she made, although she wasn't sure about Ang. When he teased her back, she laughed heartily. "Well, then I'll keep your secret if you keep mine," she winked and couldn't help but laugh again. Why hadn't she made the effort to see everyone outside of work before? For a long moment, Liliana felt fairly strong regret, before realizing it was pointless and deciding right then to go out more often when they invited her. "And it's two drinks, thank you very much," she quipped.
