She raised an eyebrow, "Oh, Merlin." Liliana covered her face in embarrassment. "I didn't think about it like that." She shook her head, looking down a bit, "What he must think." She couldn't stop grinning though, "That might explain the look he gave me." She scrunched up her nose.
"We'll keep that little mistake between you and I, hmm?" She giggled again. When he called her stern, she reached out and shoved his shoulder, although not hard enough to even move him. "Stern?" she pretended to be appalled, "I have to deal with your bravado all day," she teased. "And Angelina's wit." She shook her head, "I like to blame the both of you for me being such a workaholic." Liliana laughed, "But I also have you both to thank for getting me out tonight, so I suppose we're even." She watched him for a moment, falling silent.
He was such a nice bloke and so passionate about what he did. She actually enjoyed that, found it rather inspiring. But she didn't want to be the bird who did nothing but talk about work, even at a party like this. "It was really sweet of you do set this all up for Angelina. She really looks like she's having a blast." Liliana looked over to Ang for a minute and grinned. "Careful, people might start thinking you've gone soft."
