Mandy considered shoes, then decided against them, heading to pull open the door. Neville led the way up to the roof and Mandy followed, tea in hand, opening the door when they reached it, then following him out into the chill.
It was sunny, anyway, and not as wet as it had been the last few days. "I bet things are growing like mad up here, with all the rain." She suddenly felt like a horrible girlfriend; she didn't even know what he was growing up here.
