"Prove it," Katie said, crossing her arms over her chest. "I want to see flow charts. And diagrams. And...scientific data."
Katie sighed and leaned over, kissing the spot where she smacked him. "There. All better now, Georgie Worgie?"
"Of course you wouldn't. I mean, he's your brother, not your boyfriend. You should be pleased if he's kissing girls behind your back. Kissing girls in front of your back would be highly improper, I think," Katie said.
She filled another glass for herself and placed the bottle out of George's reach. He could have more once he'd had some fish in him. "Not Timothy Cornfoot. Apparently, it's too much of a commitment for him to agree to see me casually but to not see other people too. I mean, I'm not asking for a ring and a life-long relationship. Just asking that he not be with other girls while we're together. But that constitutes a 'serious relationship'," Katie said with another hiccup, "and so I am uncommitted, good sir."
