"Harry, please," Hermione responded in turn, somewhat expecting an answer along those lines. Narrowing her eyes as he rocked the chair in such a manner that she knew was only to irritate her, she thought it might serve him right if he did fall off. "Well, don't look at me when you go tumbling to the ground, I'm not helping you up."
That was obviously a lie, and they both knew it. Swallowing the last of her coffee, Hermione put her cup down and considered Harry carefully as she took in what he told her. "Really? You think your eyes have adjusted by themselves?" Thinking about this, she grazed her teeth along her bottom lip.
"That's interesting. You haven't been doing anything different lately?" she asked. "Drank anything, eaten anything, done anything you normally wouldn't do? You haven't been hit by any spells recently either, have you?" It was really quite intriguing.
