Isaac grinned. "I'm fighting for the good guys," he teased, shifting his basket to his other hand. He frowned when she admitted she'd been in the pub on one of his off nights.
"Not trying to avoid me, are you?" He placed a hand on his chest. "I would be bloody disappointed." Isaac grinned involuntarily. "Definitely my loss. And I didn't realise you lived around here," he said.
