Here he was, all set for a good wallow, but Oliver seemed to be dead set on pulling him out of it. Each touch, each look, word, and kiss penetrated the steady stream of negativity his brain had been unhelpfully supplying. Collin couldn't help the echoing smile, even when Oliver leaned away from him. "You might be slightly biased about my broom sitting abilities."
He burst into a startled laugh, and rapidly turned and climbed into Oliver's lap. He settled his hands around the back of the other wizard's neck, linking his fingers in Oliver's hair, and leaned in to kiss him deeply. "We can stop, sure," he said after he was satisfied for a few seconds, "but not before I've snogged you senseless. Dunno how much we'll get to do this in the next few days, and I wanna be selfish. Just for right now. And then we'll go back to being altruistic."
