All Things Considered Date & Time: 10 March 2003 Post Type: RP Status: Closed: Complete Character(s): Anthony Goldstein, Liliana Moon Location: Anthony's flat above Once Sold Tales Summary: Anthony and Liliana finally talk things over and figure out where they stand.
Anthony had straightened his flat that afternoon, more than he'd intended, though probably still not as much as he should have. He wasn't used to having girls visit his flat until he knew them quite a bit better, and by then they knew to expect piles of books and other random stuff that simply never seemed to have a particular place. He'd taken care of the worst of it, and he'd forced himself not to care about the rest--he figured he and Liliana were way beyond the point where a tiny bit of mess could ruin her impression of him.
He wasn't sure what her impression of him was at the moment, but he was hoping it wasn't entirely negative. He supposed that if it was, she probably wouldn't have still wanted to meet with him. That was something. For himself, his impression of her hadn't changed much. She seemed as surprised as he was by how their evening had turned out, and she'd dealt with it pretty gracefully, all things considered. It made him feel like an even worse cretin, even though nothing beyond going to her flat to drink had been intentional. But he liked her. He hoped this conversation would, at the very least, make it so they could be friends without feeling awkward.
The kettle whistled, and he readied two cups with tea bags, glancing at the clock as he did so. Only a few more minutes. He felt shaky with nerves.
