Anthony chuckled at that. At least he wasn't the one Michael thought needed the strange birds. Then his friend mentioned that the girl had arrived, and immediately Anthony's expression fell, and what little relaxation he'd started to find sank into the pit of his stomach. He turned to look as Michael stood up, and he got a glimpse of dark hair and long legs. Merlin.
Then Michael brought the girl back to the table, and Anthony realised a split second before their 'introduction' just who this girl was. It was all he could do not to let himself fall face first onto the table. "Liliana, hi," he managed, hoping that the smile on his face was relatively normal-looking. Since strangling Michael was very nearly his most prominent thought, he wasn't sure. "It's, um, it's been a long time."
