"Oh, really?" Hermione gave Cho a sympathetic smile. "That's never good. I hope you find something to help."
Rolling her eyes as the other witch mentioned Professor Snape not liking anyone, Hermione tended to think he liked a select few. "Anyone who wasn't in Slytherin," she commented with a wry smile. "Malfoy always seemed to do quite well in that class. Working in an apothecary must have been a wonderful experience, I'm glad it turned into such a good job opportunity for you."
Cho was right in her day being rather disconcerting, and it was still playing in the back of Hermione's mind despite her intention of distracting herself. "I don't know,"she mused. "I suppose it could have been a Portkey. I didn't actually touch it though, it touched me." She gave a small and slightly frustrated shrug. It bothered her when she couldn't explain something in a logical and reasonable way.
"Oh, yes. I'm fine. Just a little confused. Perhaps I was unconscious for a little while, it's not really something I can tell. I'll give myself the weekend to think it over and then maybe I'll mention it to somebody at work on Monday." Hermione wasn't entirely sure who she should mention it to, however. There wasn't a department just for 'strange swirly things'.
