"Wouldn't dream of spoiling my wish," he said playfully. He was have a rather good time. Hanging out with Verity was easy; plus she made him laugh. He finished another glass of wine and wondered if he should stop for now. "Thanks, I think," he said, when she said he didn't look his age--not exactly. "I would hate to know you thought I looked haggard and worn out already," he said and chuckled. "And what are you? Twenty-three?"
He laughed again when she made a joke about his hat and her magical capabilities. Sometimes he forgot how easy magic made their lives. It was true. If he didn't have it, he could always transfigure something so he did, at least for a moment.
