Eli could relate to pretending to be as normal as he could be. It wasn't always possible, but he really did try when he could. "I lived as a Muggle after Hogwarts. My parents couldn't have been happier, but then I...well, I moved back to London and found myself again I suppose." He shrugged and finished his sandwich. "It's okay though. I can deal with them, and I know what makes them happy, so that's what I try to do."
He laughed. "You're right! What was I leaving out? Mash? Toasties?" He shook his head. "You've either caught me in a horrible lie, or I've not realised how much skill I really have," he joked.
Eli wiped his mouth with a napkin and folded his hands on the table. "That was lovely, thank you. And I'm ready for this cheesecake. If it's half-edible, I'll eat the whole thing if you give up."
