"She did. It's amazing, actually. He's such a cute little boy. I've been through his chart just now," she added, reaching for it. "Putting all his information in the charts. I don't know if any of it's going to make any sense, though." She ran her hand across the record, not opening it, then set it back on the desk. "I'm sure his mother's more than relieved."
She picked up her tea and took a sip. "Oh, I like Thai," she said, then wrinkled her nose and shook her head. "Okay, not that kind of Thai. I'm up often enough for the loo. I don't need to be up with heartburn too."
She paused, then laughed. "Sorry. You probably didn't need to know that. I swear, my brain-to-mouth filter's on hiatus..."
