Timothy walked quickly alongside Mel with his hands shoved in his pockets. His scarf caught the wind and whipped him in the face a few times before he could tuck it in again.
When Mel stopped walking, he looked up at the awning that hung outside the restaurant. It did appear to be 'more than the cafe' he'd been expecting. But he reached for the door. "No, this is fine," he said. "Besides, we might freeze out here if we don't go inside right now," he joked.
Timothy stepped up to the hostess stand as he unwrapped his scarf. "Table for two please," he said. He smiled at Mel. "It even smells fancy," he teased.
