She smiled thankfully, Peter would know. Hestia certainly appreciated his opinion. "Good," she said quietly. The walk was quiet, but it was company and that was more than enough for Hestia to be grateful.
"Um," she shrugged softly, "Christmas with Samantha. My parents will come down I'm sure. We seem my brothers and their families on Christmas eve." Hestia did love to see them. Family made her feel supported and made it harder to miss how badly she'd wanted more children when she was surrounded by nieces and nephews. Hestia smiled, genuinely looking forward to seeing her family.
Stepping inside the Chinese restaurant was a relief. The warmth immediately greeted her welcomingly. They were seated and she started looking over the menu, indecisive as always.
