"Brilliant," Hermione responded. "And while I think of it, if you do find yourself with a new kitten anytime soon, Katie Bell was mentioning something along the lines of a kitten party. Which, I know, sounds a little strange. But it could be fun, and I know many of us could do with some of that."
She didn't miss Hestia's reaction to her revelation that she was working at the Ministry, and gave a small shrug. "I'm in the Magical Creature Equality Committee, working with house-elves." For now. Hermione wondered how much Hestia knew about those dreadful bracelets. "That's good to hear," she said honestly. "I think St Mungo's is a perfect fit for you." Hestia was warm and caring and a brilliant addition to the hospital. She smiled as 'those boys' were mentioned from the Auror department, but then immediately thought of her somewhat breakdown when she had gone to see Ron after hearing about Neville, and her smile faded slightly. "They probably all miss you."
The way Hestia put her qualities had Hermione arching an eyebrow. "Could I get that in writing for the next time someone tells me I'm too careful and way too bossy?" Giving a knowing smile as George was mentioned, she nodded. "Oh yes, I can see how that could very well give anyone grey hairs." Laughing as Hestia then mentioned the intimidation factor, Hermione shook her head in amusement. Is that really what she was like? "I'd love to meet Samantha one day."
