Eli put down his chopsticks and pushed his hands through his hair as he leaned back. "Those questions are all subjective you know," he said. "Each bloke would be different. I know Cornfoot and we talk when he's at the bar, but I don't exactly know what he does in his personal life. I can give you assumptions of how I think he thinks, but I could be wrong."
Eli finished his beer while he gave her questions some thought. "Question one: You should wait as long as you can stand. However, if a man truly wants to be with you and only you, he will be. Question two: I have no idea how in Merlin's name Cornfoot could not choose you. Question three: You're possibly overthinking things, but that's only natural. I'm assuming that since you've been having a casual relationship with him, it was by your choice and now you're attached to him and no longer like your choice. And no, I don't think you're barmy."
