Katie moved closer to him and laid her head against his shoulder. He put his arm around her and gave her shoulder a squeeze. "Weiner Schnitzel," he repeated. "I think I've heard of that, yeah." When she described how one could pound it flat after a bad day at work, he smiled at her. "So after a particularly long night of sots who've done nothing but whinge, I should make Weiner Schnitzel. Got it."
He gave her a squeeze again. "Let's see, there is a pizza place around the corner. A great little Chinese restaurant that delivers, and probably the sandwich shop will be open another hour or so. Do you like any of that?"
