RP: OUT! Date & Time: 30 November 2002 | Late afternoon into the wee hours Post Type: Introspective Status: Closed: Complete Character(s): Hannah Abbott Location: Hannah's flat and Pendragon's Summary: Hannah goes on a cleaning spree, cursing the dust and dirt along the way
Hannah stopped at the healer's that afternoon; she was fine. Determined to stay that way, she asked for any protection charm they could offer as well as any advice to keep it from spreading when she was at work. With some more productive ideas to keep the disease from spreading not only around the pub but among its patron's as well.
She returned home and began scrubbing her studio flat from top to bottom; she even paid close attention to the corners were the walls and ceiling met. Not that her place was all that messy to begin with, but Hannah was beginning to believe the place will always be dirty in one aspect or another. Using a mix of magical and muggle cleaning techniques, the floor had been swept, moped, swept and moped again. The rugs were beaten, washed and dried, same with the curtains, blankets, and bed covers. Bloody dust! Carrying all kinds of things.
Using polish and a scrub brush, Hannah buffed years off the steel fixtures in the bathroom and kitchen. Every plate was washed and rinsed twice before. Hannah dusted everything; even the duster. Ahh. Livable again, she thought. What is next? Despite the hours she spent in her own flat cleaning, there was more to be done. With a wave of her wand, Hannah collected her cleaning supplies and levitated them in front of her as she moved on to the pub. A good scrub in the kitchen is called for.
Hannah entered the pub through the back entrance, heading straight for the office. She could hear the sounds of the bar, which were not particularly loud, but active. "All right, Abbott, let's attack this room then storage. Kitchen and dining area can be done later." She gave herself a deceive nod and set to work, dusting and sweeping and scrubbing. You are going to be able to eat off my floors!
