Fletcher's Market Date & Time: 21 November | Early Evening Post Type: RP Status: Closed: Complete Character(s): Timothy Cornfoot, Liliana Moon Location: Hogsmeade - Fletcher's Market Summary: Liliana goes grocery shopping and runs in to a familiar face
Work had been so much easier now that she was handling a more benign case. It helped her come home with energy left and kept her from being emotionally overwhelmed. Today had been almost boring but she liked the change.
Liliana had gone straight to the market after getting home from work. She was eager to get home and start cooking. Tonight she was planning on making lasagna, something she knew would reheat well for her lunch for most of the week.
On her way through the market, she remembered the ticket Reginald had sent her. She couldn't quite remember what she'd said but given his responses, she'd been a bit forward. The thought made her flush as she picked up some more herbs for her meal. When she turned towards the cheeses she spotted a familiar face and stopped in her tracks. It was Timothy. When she saw him, she wondered if she shouldn't have owled Reginald. It made her feel a bit guilty, but why should she? She knew logically that there was no reason to feel guilty, they weren't in a relationship. That didn't stop the twinge of guilt she felt, or the regret that began to pester her.
Did she really like Timothy that much? Liliana knew she was one to ignore her feelings, or completely deny them, but was she? They hadn't dated that much... And none of the dates had been particularly successful. Liliana frowned softly. If she did like him, should she be sad as well? They hadn't spoken in over a week and she'd felt rather ignored. Wasn't that why she'd owled Reginald?
She pursed her lips initially, unsure if she should approach him or not. Maybe he was avoiding her? She hadn't heard from him in a while. He started to turn and she knew he would see her anyway. Liliana walked up and smiled sweetly, "Hey," she tucked her hair behind her ear, "How have you been?" She made sure the question didn't sound like she was accusing him of avoiding her, knowing he had a tendency to assume things that she hadn't implied. He looked nice and she found herself wishing she'd worn something besides her skinny jeans and a pullover.
