She crinkled her nose when he mentioned Isaac further. "I think it's more to do with him," she made a face. Isaac didn't seem to deal with any emotion at all, and she thought he seemed rather overprotective of himself. She'd pondered for a bit if there might be a reason but decided she didn't much care.
Liliana couldn't imagine anyone being grumpy at night, it didn't sound much fun at all. Night was pretty much her favorite time of day. "I'm an interrogator for the Wizengamot," she confessed with a soft smile. Liliana prepared to hear again how surprising that was. It always bothered her when people thought that being attractive and smart were mutually exclusive. Her appearance was all predetermined at her birth, her intelligence was something she'd worked very hard for and her father had as well. She tended to think that those who found they were pretty decided they didn't have to work harder or be smarter, and that's what perpetuated the stereotype. She hated it.
