Eli tugged his ear and began fixing a drink for the wizard a few stools down from the witch who had his attention. "Nothing," he said, hoping she wasn't offended, "nothing really. I just know some women stay away from potatoes because they think they're not the best nutritional meal." He shrugged. "Not that I've ever minded curves."
She appeared to like the drink and Eli smiled at her. "The sparkles only make it prettier. Strictly for show." He passed off the new drink and removed another empty glass from the bar. "Four years," he said. "But my older brother was a bartender for a few years, and I learned a lot from him."
