Eli looked curiously at Lisa. He shook his head. "Merlin, I hope not," he said. "He was called unexpectedly to Cyprus," he said, and thinking that sounded ridiculously cryptic, he added, "for work." Eli didn't want to imagine what Pendragon's would be like if Cornfoot was gone for good. He didn't fancy he would enjoy it as much. At least Cornfoot kept it interesting.
"Aberdeen is the top of line," Eli said. "Will get you were you want to go quite fast if where you want to go is pissed. You let me know when and if you're ready for another."
He looked at stack of items she had in front of her. Oh, he thought, they were photographs. "So I suppose you were working the game then? Did you bring photographs from the event?"
