Eli laughed. "Mash after running?" he asked playfully. "Does that counteract your hard work?"
He turned and added a citrus vodka to her glass. He already knew she liked vodka. He added more a couple more citrus liquors--two, half shots each--and then he sliced up an orange, squeezed the juice into her glass and added a slice to the side. He tapped the glass with his wand. The liquid changed from clear to soft orange, and he tapped it once more, muttering a spell, and the liquid sparkled.
He turned and handed her the drink. "We call this a Navel Novelty," he said with a shrug. "Not the best name, but perhaps you'll like it." He smiled at the bar top when she said she'd hope to see him more often. Eli knew she was likely only being friendly, and when he looked up, he was surprised to see her cheeks were flushed.
