Despite being tired, his hunger woke him well before sunset. He stayed under the covers for a while. Harry was still there, in smell at least. He wondered how long the wizard slept - or needed to. Eric was beginning to suspect there was more to magic than he originally suspected. The more he was around Harry, the more he believed that Harry wasn't completely human.
He climbed out of the bed. With a light foot, he found his phone in his pants left on the living room floor. He picked up their clothes and put Harry's in his dirty clothes pile. After reassembling a phone, he called into the bar. Becky answered with relief in her voice.
His shoulders were tense after the call was completed. He popped the components of his phone apart before walking into the bathroom. He chuckled at the shower, but found it suitable for getting clean. The cold water didn't bother him, but Harry's choice in cheapass shampoo and soap did.
