His hamburger finished, Harry stood up and kissed Hank's head. "Tell Markus not to go getting himself into trouble trying to spy on the Reds for me. He has no need and I wouldn't want any trouble for the Bella Luna."
"No fear, I'll talk to Markus tonight. He won't be doing it again. But if I hear anything else..." she motioned with her hand and then gave an elegant shrug.
Harry looked at Eric for a moment, then nodded at Sitri. "For now, anyway, it might be more expedient to keep the Sheriff in the loop."
"I agree. For now." Sitri's tone was polite and professional, but the meaning was clear. She would help Eric only as long as that meant that Eric would be of benefit to her and the pack.
"Thank you." He hugged Hank good-bye and gave Sitri a short wave of his beer bottle, which he still hadn't let go of. "Give me a call if you need anything."
