That's why she'd had Urkonn. And he'd been helpful right up until he betrayed her.
Fray's world wasn't as easy as Buffy's... and even Buffy's wasn't 'easy.' But Buffy had help. Giles. Willow. Even Spike and Angel.
Fray had Fray. Period. Sometimes she had Erin. The people who'd helped her take on Harth's onslaught of demons were just normal people. They didn't even have the benefit of time spent with a slayer, like Xander or Dawn.
Just people. And half a slayer.
Mel wondered if Buffy could save the world completely alone with one hand tied behind her back. That's what she felt like she'd had to do.
Her stomach growled. Loudly. She put a hand on it. "Can... can um, you show me where food is?"
