Since his arrival in town, Riley had encountered a small assortment of vampires and low-level demons. Thus far, there had been no were sightings, but it was likely an inevitablity with the mouth of Hell a stone's throw away. Essentially, Riley was prepared for anything that might be meeting him when he rounded the corner.
Anything but a guy with a cigarette.
"Maybe I should be concerned," Riley thought to himself, "That I automatically assume that there HAS to be a monster."
He lowered the gun, but only slightly. Just because it was a man and not a beast in the alley didn't mean he wasn't dangerous.
"What are you doing just hanging around an alley in the dark? It's dangerous..."
