Of course it didn't seem right. From what he'd said, Jo had been missing for a few days without a phone call. Mary knew her mom, and her mom didn't go MIA without some sort of contact. Not unless something was wrong.
She was glad that he'd called in her uncle though. Her dad and Uncle Sam had gotten out of more tight spots than anyone else that Mary knew. Having him there would be a good thing.
It would also add to the weirdness, since he would be much younger than she'd ever seen him as well. Mary was really not a huge fan of angels right now. She rarely was a huge fan of angels, but her tolerance for the winged menaces was getting lower by the second.
"Did she say anything else to give you an idea of what we're dealing with? Or any background noise?"
Her dad would have mentioned either of those things right away, but he wasn't her dad. At least, not yet. Maybe not... No, she couldn't think about what might happen if things didn't go well here. It wasn't possible that the angels had brought her back here to save one of her parents... was it?
