Yup, that was the dad that she knew and loved-when he wasn't driving her nuts. He was stubborn to a fault. Mary drew herself up and half-glared.
"I was brought back here by an angel. I assume it's because Ellen's missing and I'm supposed to find her, but nobody told me anything, and I don't know what you already know and you know full well that I shouldn't be telling you too much about when I'm from."
She gave him a little half-smile, even if her eyes were flashing with annoyance.
"I believe you usually call them 'dicks with wings' for a reason."
She frowned again.
